2018 VISIT TO NORTH FERRIBY

       Wednesday 9 May to Sunday 13 May 


This year we are expecting 40 visitors from Le Pellerin including individuals, couples and families with children. Our hosts, in the photograph, extend a warm welcome to our guests.

The Programme for the visit is as follows:

WEDNESDAY   ARRIVE BIRMINGHAM AIRPORT AT 2.30pm John & Rosemarie Halmshaw's
9th MAY 2018   ARRIVE NORTH FERRIBY APPROX 5.30 pm  EVENING WITH HOST FAMILY
       
   
VISIT TO RSPB BEMPTON CLIFFS AND 
   
THURSDAY SEWERBY HALL    
10th MAY 2018 Bus departs Duke of Cumberland at     EVENING WITH HOST FAMILY
  8.30 am prompt and returns approx 6 pm    
  PICNIC LUNCH TO BE TAKEN
 
 
       
FRIDAY CHILDREN TO VISIT SCHOOLS - TIMES TBA TOUR OF HULL OLD TOWN lead by  
11th MAY 2018  5 - 11 yr olds NF PRIMARY PAUL SCHOFIELD EVENING WITH HOST FAMILY
  12 +  WOLFRETON SCHOOL 2pm VICTORIA SQUARE, HULL  
  ADULTS FREE WITH HOSTS    
   

   
SATURDAY 9.30 AM JOINT COMMITTEE MEETING SPORTS CHALLENGE  7 - 11 pm FAREWELL PARTY at     the Parish Hall
12th MAY 2018 at 57 NUNBURNHOLME AVENUE VENUE & TIME TBA MUSIC BY DR. JIVE
  11.00 am OPTIONAL WALK to   BUFFET AND PAY BAR

13th MAY 2018 CUMBERLAND FOR BIRMINGHAM AIRPORT

THE TOM CLAGUE SPRINGWALK,  SUNDAY 25 MARCH 

More than 30 members enjoyed our annual walk in South Ferriby in warm sunshine. This was followed by lunch at the White Swan in Barton-upon-Humber

QUIZ NIGHT SATURDAY 14 APRIL 2018

More than 60 people enjoyed a competitive but friendly quiz night at the Parish Hall. 
Phil Walker was our quizmaster again and set everyone a fine challenge.

Why join?

    • you can host a French family when they visit us  
    • you can learn French by joining a 'Chat' group


You don't need to speak French and you are not obliged to go to France or host a French family.
