New Chair

Dear Members

I am a firm believer that an organisation like ours should constantly seek to refresh itself, explore new ideas and encourage a steady influx of new members. At the recent AGM, I suggested that the Association would benefit from a new Chair as I had been in the role for a number of years.

It was agreed that the Committee would actively seek a replacement. I am now delighted to inform you that Janet Aitken has agreed to take on the role of Chair.

I firmly believe that Janet will be excellent in the role and will be able to take us forward. As you know she is fluent in French and has played a key role in developing links between the schools in North Ferriby and Le Pellerin.  She has also worked hard to make the Chats group a great success and the fact that she knows the key people in Le Pellerin will stand her in good stead.

I sincerely hope that everyone will join with me in giving her your full support and that the Association goes from strength to strength.
