![]() Le Pellerin is a lovely French village a few kilometres west of the city of Nantes on the south bank of the Loire in the Loire-Atlantique department in north-western France. Le Pellerin developed on the banks of the Loire and a small, free RORO ferry operates to carry people and vehicles across the river. The river promenade provides an attractive location for community events and on Saturdays the recently restored Market Hall, and the adjacent street, host a lively French market. Le Pellerin has a population of 4,000 and is in many ways a typical small French town keen to develop more links with individuals and organisations in North Ferriby. Our Gallery page has some slideshows of our visits (and theirs) which show more views of Le Pellerin. ![]() Our sister website for the Le Pellerin-North Ferriby Twinning Association is: |
